ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MINUTES OF MARCH 24, 2010

 

A regular meeting of the Town of Sharon Zoning Board of Appeals was held on  Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the Lower Level of the Town Office Building.  The following members were present:  John Lee, Clerk; Kevin McCarville, Secretary; Lee Wernick, Seth Ruskin, Larry Okstein.

 

8:05 P.M.        Richard and Marie Martin, 24 Walnut Street, Case No. 1646 Continued Hearing:   Mr. Lee stated that the board was awaiting receipt of a plot plan and it was received.  This is a continued hearing from January 27, 2010.  Mr. Martin stated the new addition is shown on the new plans, including a proposed bathroom.  It will be about 1-1/2” shorter than the existing house and back about 11’2”.  It is a single story and they are proposing to put on a porch which will be 7’ in depth, which will wrap around the back of the house.  Mr. Martin stated they are proposing to screen in the back, but the sides will be open with a roof.  The footprint is exactly how it will be built.

 

There were no public comments or questions.

 

Mr. Wernick moved to approve the proposed addition for 24 Walnut Street as per the plan dated February 4, 2010 in accordance with the board’s standard conditions and the special condition that this is a four-bedroom home and will remain a 4-bedroom home.  Motion seconded by Mr. Ruskin and voted 3-0-0 (Lee, McCarville, Wernick).

 

It was moved, seconded and voted to adjourn.  The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
